7 Days To Die

7 Days To Die is a survival crafting game with a huge world. You start as a survivor with no equipment or even clothing, and must survive for as long as possible by taking care of your needs and fighting back the infected. You can build, craft new tools and weapons, and even go mining! It's an all in one packed to the brim with fun.

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, is a free ASCII (or with a tileset) open source, zombie based, rogue-like, set in a post-apocalyptic New England. You begin the game as a survivor in a scenario of your choice in a randomly generated world, from then on, your only task is to survive and eventually be free to do whatever you want, like to build a base and custom vehicle, or even become a mutated, solar powered, mess. This game is very open to do almost anything, except first; you must survive.

Terraria

Terraria is a 2D action sandbox game where you can shape the world in whichever way you want. Basically MineCraft in 2D, but better! You can do so much more, and in my opinion, the pixel art looks better than what MineCraft has to offer. Definitely check this game out, the final update is coming soon too!

Xenonauts

Xenonauts is a spiritual successor to the original X-Com. A very good successor as well. It keeps to the 2D, isometric style of the game, but improves on the fun parts of it as well and removes the not so fun parts. If you've never played the new or original X-Com, it's a turn based strategy game set on defeating aliens on semi-random maps, but be warned, it's still 2D and I'm sure that is a no go for some gamers.

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

Is a rouge like, shoot em up, with hand drawn pixel art. It is actually a pretty strange game covering some strange themes and being awkward at times. It may seem like a simple game at first, but it has hundreds of items and collectibles, all of which affect how your game goes. Every level is semi-random, and gets tougher as you go deeper, the "final" boss is your mom. But we played it for hours and want you to know about it!

XCOM: Enemy Within

XCOM: Enemy Within is a standalone expansion which improves the core experience of the original with new missions, maps and alien types. Including new unit types for your squad, from deadly mech warriors, to genetically modified super soldiers (GMO!), using the new powers of "meld", a new resource which appears in all maps, and the Enemy Within is literally a group of traitorous people who are ready to sell the human race to your foe, the aliens, and stop you from succeeding.

Mount And Blade: Warband

Mount & Blade: Warband

Is an open world sandbox featuring detailed battles with hundreds of NPCs! Battles can range from a simple duel, one on one, all the way to massive siege warfare with hundreds on both sides, attacker or defender, the battles are no simple task, but thanks to dynamic options being available, they can be as hard, or easy as you want. Mount and Blade: Warband is a true masterpiece.

Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V

Is the next installment in the series, and has brand new features not before seen in the previous games. The graphics have been supercharged, and the world made gorgeous with tons to explore as Franklin, Michael and Trevor, that's right 3, playable characters in one GTA game!

Dwarf Fortress
