Is the next installment in the series, and has brand new features not before seen in the previous games. The graphics have been supercharged, and the world made gorgeous with tons to explore as Franklin, Michael and Trevor, that's right 3, playable characters in one GTA game!
There isn't much to explain about the mechanics of the game. You commit crimes and make big money, GTA V introduces heists into the game. Where the three characters team up, and hit a location to make big money. The only real problem is that, it's basically the only way to make a solid amount of money. If you spend all your cash too early on something like cars, then you may have trouble making ends meet.
The world has truly become alive with the addition of animals and very pleasing weather affects. They have removed the "sectioned" map system from previous games and instead have created one, very large land mass which you can explore completely from the get go. No more completing half the missions just to unlock the next land mass, it's all open from here on in.
Car customization has returned after an absence from GTA IV, and friends aren't as "needy" anymore. Now you have a much easier time to manage friendship. You can still go out with your bros, but, it won't effect your ability to play the game to its full potential negatively.
Many new activities have arrived too! The flying school is back with a vengeance, and new stunt activities are now available, where you jump from planes, do quad races, or even run a triathlon. Completing these assorted tasks nets you new items or even abilities.
The shooting mechanics haven't changed that much, except the addition of a shooting range and a load of guns. Some much overpowered, like the mini-gun. They have also returned the ability to carry all the guns you want, so it won't just be one gun per each category. Weapons can now also have upgrades, from paint jobs, to silencers, pick whatever you want. It has all the basics covered. Want a pink machine gun of death? Sure, just pay the cash and it's yours!
A new "stranger" system has been implemented too, where semi random people on the street ask your character to help with something. It can be anything from hunting bounties, to escorting people to the cannibal cult, it all goes in this game.
The multiplayer is of course unmissable. You can have unlimited hours of fun, running around with friends and causing havoc, including doing heists together for big money. Starting out is tough but once you get rolling, it really picks up in fun!
Conclusion:
The series has definitely taken the right path as it keeps getting better and better. They have improved on every single aspect of previous games. All the good parts of GTA IV and San Andreas merged into one very well done masterwork.Grand Theft Auto V
